Ben has been working in London's photographic industry for over 12 years. Starting out as an assistant he worked with some of the biggest photographers in the world. Nick Knight, Albert Watson and Juergen Teller to name just a few. He then established himself as a photographer and regularly had work published in various magazines, including Arena, I.D and GQ. In 2004 Ben was approached as part of a small team to create Big Sky London, a large photographic studio in Kings Cross. As a founder member Ben helped design and build the various studios , along with being solely responsible for recruitment and training. But 5 years later and after helping establishing them as one of Europe's elite studio facilities, he felt the time was right to leave and return back to photography. Ben is currently based in Shoreditch East London and continues to push forward in the very competitive world of fashion photography. Concentrating mainly now on Menswear his latest work is at the cutting the edge of contemporary editorial content. Creating work which is a combination of stills and moving imagery for interactive Ipad based magazines like Project and currently working with several high st brands for various applications within the commercial sector. |
